| 90's are said to have some problems with improperly machined heads (I have one and haven't had any problems). 90's may have other bugs that haven't been worked out yet. Just speculation on my part. The 94+ had the pintleless injectors, so less problems with corrosion on the tips of the injectors, etc. I think it was either 95 or 96 they started OBDII... maybe 96. Slightly less hp... but now jwt does have the ecu program for OBDII. Not sure about other limitations. Basically there is no huge difference, some interior and exterior stuff (tweed vs. suede, the spoiler etc.) but no reason to rule out any year in my opinion. Oh... some z's had iron calipers and some had aluminum. All this info is available in faq and search.
